well over 600 dollars. after the first heart attack, and making arrangements to pay off the bill over 3 months along with our regular monthly bill, we had a swamp cooler installed on the roof and our electric bill dropped by 1/3. They work best in desert climates.

Has anyone ever heard of insulating your house or maybe running an attic fan. Best money you could ever spend. Bullet, good insulation would cut your 600 dollar electric bill by 2/3 or more. Maybe an expense up front but oh the years of running the central air for cheap that will follow.

As far as living in AZ did so back in 2000 for about 5 years wife graduated college there. Lived in Goodyear, Chandelier, and Scottsdale also lived in a small town 70 mi. north of Phoenix called Payson shit hole kinda place moved out rather quickly lol... came back where our family is.

attic fans work wonders...along with just getting a box AC....one that you put in your window...
