Re: No teamplay? CSS
what is sad is that they are regulars...admins didn't step in and tell them to follow the call..because they don't want to get accused for falsely accusing them of not teamplaying....
I know that two -=|BIGTEX|=- members faith and jason chose not to follow the call and be a good example of the community members and then flat out make fun of me for my speech disorder...

Re: No teamplay? CSS
As quick as I can
You typed a call we didn't follow, immediately the next round you were irritated that we didn't follow, and you made a call anyway, that happened to work. Then continued to talk about the one round that did work and how we should all listen to you.
There was more complaining then calling going on though and it distracted many players for a round or 2. Then as far as I know, you moved to the other team, and we started getting our act together.
You shouldn't get worked up about a couple rounds, it was your responses that fueled it, next time it needs to stay more geared to the game, which many people reminded us of during all of this.

Re: No teamplay? CSS
sorry but well there was an admin there watching it he or she muted a mic spammer but didn't give a warning to t's...
And isn't it impossible to know if there is an admin on or not? Because I have seen a rule all admins are considered anonymous. I am still new to the community and I still don't know that many admins on the css server.. But I will use that command next time that crap comes around..
thanks

Re: No teamplay? CSS
Like I said... use ma_chat to get a hold of an admin. There's no way for regular players to see if any admins are on. so just use ma_chat.
If the admin doesn't respond, then:
1.) There isn't one in there.
2.) He's there and just missed it.
or
3.) He's busy and just send it again.

Re: No teamplay? CSS
I will agree that lately with new players on the server that there are more people not following calls and just worried about their kdr. The solution is for the regs to step up, tell everyone to shut it and either make the calls or be an example and follow the calls that are being made.
The admins on this site miss very little, so give them a break. Encourage a team play type spirit and it will permeate your team. :9

Re: No teamplay? CSS
I was really annoyed that no one was making calls on saturday On t and I didn't want to say anything because I didn't feel like getting made fun of for my lack of speech skill... So I when I found the opportunity I switched over to ct not just because I wanted to win its because I wanted to be a part of a team that actually uses teamwork...I have heard comments that the game gets really boring when there is nothing being done on t's just random actions and rouge play. And some regulars should step up when there is no calls and make one. I am going to start a css tactic topic where regulars can will know what calls people can make when there is no calls...

Or if they say, "You're call is stupid"... Tell them, "Fine, you make the call next round." Quit blaming and putting it off on other people, or better yet selling out your team and switching sides. You're not helping the problem, you're just making it worse.
