My 360 decided it didn't have the dignity to die, the CD tray just decides to act all weird, it takes 10 tries to get it to open and stay open and another 10 to get it to close and stay closed....

Xbox 360s have a 50%+ fail rate. Consoles are fail anyway.

Not really, fun group activity. Most of my friends don't have games on their PC's, so when I want to play a few games, we hook up our consoles.

    Re: Your 360 RRoD's

Im just copying and pasting this from an email I sent today but I feel this holds true for most of Microsoft's major products...

Windows has a habit of producing a sub-par operating system that isnt ready to be released to the public yet but they do anyways for the money (Windows 95, Windows ME, Windows Vista, etc...). So what they do is release them and just constantly update them depending on what error reports come in from the users. Then they just take that cr@ppy OS and develop it into a new, more stable one and sell that (Windows 98, XP, and W7) after a few years of people dealing with the bad OS's. Its actually pretty ingenious since they have a huge chunk of the market share. Your software testers are 100,000's of consumers that actually paid you to use your software.

W7 will take over as the default OS you get if you buy a computer from a store. Its a more stable and efficient Vista. This will probably be the last round of this though once Google gets an OS out there....
Basically, this one bit them in the ass because its hardware, not software. So when a batch of them break, they have to pay to ship to, repair, and ship from... I think thats MS's way of doing things though is pushing out a product that really isnt completely ready, only to try on saving money on testing costs.
