I remember back in the day, my parents bought me this toy night vision thing. All it was, was green lenses and it had a flashlight attached to it.

the NVG that my local PD uses is the Bushnell Night Vision 26-1020. Which is about 550ish new.

This one is probably going to blow. No protective circuitry

(so a candle, light going on, or for instance a muzzle flash might literally blind you)

looks like its very loose fit as well, most NVG sets have a 3-4 point strap system for a snug fit as well as comfort. Those things are fairly heavy on your face as well as having a helmet on.

But keep in mind that the level of technology has definetly gone up since back in the day. I would assume they might some night time missions in the game so you can use. Would be pretty awesome though to play the game with the goggles on in a dark room.
