Why Cyber Bullying is Bull
This is just my opinion on the matter, none of the following is meant to insult anyone.
What is Cyber Bullying? Well it's when someone uses a chat browser to send you mean of "hurtful" messages, in contrast to normal bullying when theres a guy twice your size chasing you down and beating you up every day. Cyber Bullying is bull for one reason and one reason only. THERES A BLOCK BUTTON!!!! If you don't like the way someone is chatting with you? block them. If they are insulting you over the net? block them. Its that easy, and a similar rule goes for gaming. If people are saying you suck or something like that, leave the server, no one is forcing you to play with them, and no one is forcing you to chat with the abuser.

Wanna fight about it?
j.k.... cyberbullying is for fags with no life.
Actually... cyber bullying was around a lil while longer than that chick n' suicide thing... just needed something to thrust it into the spotlight.
Upon further reading on this... and from a crappy source i might add... here's this:
wikipedia
The National Crime Prevention Council's definition of cyber-bullying is "when the Internet, cell phones or other devices are used to send or post text or images intended to hurt or embarrass another person."[2] Other researchers use similar language to describe the phenomenon.[3][4]
Cyber-bullying can be as simple as continuing to send e-mail to someone who has said they want no further contact with the sender, but it may also include threats, sexual remarks, pejorative labels (i.e., hate speech), ganging up on victims by making them the subject of ridicule in forums, and posting false statements as fact aimed at humiliation.
Cyber-bullies may disclose victims' personal data (e.g. real name, address, or workplace/schools) at websites or forums or may pose as the identity of a victim for the purpose of publishing material in their name that defames or ridicules them. Some cyberbullies may also send threatening and harassing emails and instant messages to the victims, while other post rumors or gossip and instigate others to dislike and gang up on the target.
Like you said in the first post... why not "ignore" or "block" the person?? Most "social" programs have that feature as a base feature with their app.... use it.
"but but but but... they will still say those things and i won't be able to see it..."
^^^ that's where the kiddies get into trouble and this whole damn thing gets blown out of proportion. my .02

From my work email:
I am optimistic, intelligent, and careful. I want to meet a man, with whom it would be easy and comfortable. I am a very communicative girl who can easily find a right key to the man soul! I like to cognize this world full of bolts from the blue, in which I am realizing myself not only like a person but also like a very attractive and wished lady! What is more I am fond of the extreme sports, like to spend much time outdoors! I appreciate in people, particularly in man sincerity, honesty, respectfulness, and self-confidence. I must warn you that I am the strong character person, so I am looking for the man who will match me in this as well! I love my family and wish to build strong relations with a man, who will fall in love with so tremendously for I think every beautiful lady deserves to be loved! Some of the things I like to do in my free time are to listen to music, I also like to read specially of self improvement, to go out, travel and I like to dance. I wish he would be a reliable friend and a support for me and would let me to become a beloved women and a faithful friend for him.
