I agree, actually. the "cyber" part of "cyber bullying" is just a way to specify the type of bullying taking place. Bullying is bullying, and there is already plenty of infrastructure in place to fight it. Measures to address it specifically will look an awful lot like hate crime legislation, which I also think is absurd.

It's called snail mail for a reason. If you sent out a bunch of postcards instead of using Facebook, would it really be any different? Nope. But how many people send out 200 postcards. How many post nasty Facebook messages.

Again, I'm not and never have called for special laws. Harassment is harassment, regardless of the means.

Harassment is just harassment, but until they get rid of bullying in schools (which would get rid of most cyber bullying), they really shouldn't go blocking the webs. I think that cyber bullying is an extension of RL bullying. The people who bully you at school would probably bully you on the webs, and the people who are bullied at school probably bully on the internet because they wana feel in power (unlike that feeling they get at school when they are bullied).

Why Cyber bullying does not exist:

1# You can change your email, you are anonymous and only known to those you make yourself known to. You can easily delete/create new accounts anywhere and the only people that will know its you is people that you tell its you.

2# As before mentioned you can easily block people, if they take the effort to make a new account so can you. It takes absolutely no time to carry out step 1 and make a new identity. Your friends are giving this away this information to the abuser? Well then they aren't your friends are they, remove them from your next one.

3# Tracking what people do on the internet is very difficult for a normal home user. If they know what your doing then its most likely your fault. The only way they should be able to abuse you is if you let them or constantly give them enough information to where they can find and harass you.

If you kill yourself over something on the internet, chances are you were going to kill yourself without something on the internet.

I completely agree, and this was the whole point of my post and what i said in the beginning , to prove that cyberbullying is bullshit

The only logical reasons for her actions would be either she was on drugs or has an unbalanced personality, or she has shkitzofrania...... none of which she had......so because of some retarded chick we are now not going to be able to say stuff in games like.....
