I wish I could sig this entire quote... I couldnt agree with you more and sadly it happens in many walks of life. People are in their own little movie and could care less about others around them. Its selfish and lazy to the fullest extent and it really drives me crazy. I came close to throwing a handful of change at a car once, but lucky for the cell-phone-weilding, ignorant, arrogant, self-absorbed asshole next to me that was swerving in and out of lanes in rush hour as if his battle for three more car lengths in 30 minutes of traffic even matters, I didnt have any change within reach.

Just drive like everyone else is an idiot - if you happen to be right, you don't need to change anything! Actually, that can be applied to a lot of things. Another fun thing we get around here is cyclists riding like they're driving half-tons, cutting people off and changing lanes without signalling. I mean, yes, riding is great, but don't be stooopid about it.

Cyclists are the worst. Especially in Chicago. They want to be treated like theyre another vehicle on the road but ignore all traffic lights/signs.

I had a fun experience today... I was coming back from a gig driving down a highway. The guy behind me pulls into an exit lane and then cuts me off to get right in front of me (no blinker mind you

). So all that for one extra car length. Whatever, I go about my business and change lanes. I end up in front of him again and our lane is merging with another lane. This dude switches lanes and speeds up so I cant merge over. I called his bluff and just keep inching over until he finally backed off. Then he switches lanes again, pulls up next to me and flips ME the bird as if I was in thee wrong. I just started laughing. The nerve of some people man...

Oh man, I hate those people who jump the gun and cut in line in the lane merges, I pull halfway into the other lane so the people cutting can't get by, they get all pissed off and I just look at them and smile and wave....they get even more mad and it is just that much more funny.

I call them "legends".
People who think they are ALL BY THEMSELVES on the road and there is no need to use mirrors or signals or in any way take into consideration the other drivers on the road.

Can you just imagine what the insurance rates would be if we had a real driving test to get your license ?
Maybe.....you had to have a special lic if you want to drive a car with say .....300bhp or more.
You know, just a quick test to see if you can stop you car from 70mph on a wet curving road.
And if you have kids, then during the test there are 2-3 other people in the back of the car yelling and screaming while you try to stop the car from 70 on a wet road.

Use your blinker correctly and PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WATCH OUT FOR MOTORCYCLES. Every time I ride it's a fight for my life because of all the dumb asses veering straight into me.

Also, if you use your blinker in a turn only lane just go cut up your license and stay at home.

I hear that. I ride now as if theyre actually out to get me. Just always have to expect the worst while riding, or even driving for that matter.
