The air wings in our military take the attitude that first shot equals first kill which equals victory. Isn't that why we are constantly upgrading our search capability? So we get first look? And upgrading our missiles, so we get the first shot? And upgrading our aircraft, so that they can get into a position to take that first shot without ever being seen?
