Observation on Changes in the Forums
I don't know what it is, maybe it's just me, but does it seem like the more variety we get in the forum user base, the more and more topics we have dealing with relationships and personal problems?
I mean, Mrs. Quick and Andy just showed up a little bit ago, and I think we are up to three or four relationship/personal help topics in just the last few days. We are talking about bunny rabbits and ducks...and Xavsnipe. We are talking about getting out of jets and letting other people fly for once. What are we becoming? What happened to the good old days of constantly beating the heck out of each other, the constant insults, the epic verbal abuse, the "I'm gonna knife yo ass next time I see you on the server", the "man, that terrorist must have gotten blown like 300 feet in the air...AWESOME!", the threads complaining about hax, bunny hopping, teamstacking? Could it be that we are becoming...I shudder to say, civilized by this influx of emotion and different perspectives?
*Yes, this thread was meant to be pointless, funny, sarcastic, whatever you want it to be, and a stat pad whore post for me (two can play at that game Red_Lizard, or should I say CivilWars?). Any references to individual players/TTPers are in good taste except for Saltspring, because he is Canadian, and Xav, because he is...well, Xav. If offense was taken, I suggest you turn it into negative feelings and go kill someone on the battlefield, preferably not me; my personal recommendation would be Elkhartadam, with a knife, or ...bigdog..., because he is never in a game that anyone plays.
