The problem with food poisoning is that it is rarely the last thing you ate. More likely it's the thing you ate 3-4 days ago. Takes time for the bacteria to incubate in your system before you feel the bad effects. Here's a web site that you should keep in touch with alot if you want to eat the safe stuff:

Just based on personal experience, I'm gonna disagree with you on that one. There have been at least 3 times in my life when I have gotten seriously sick from eating hotdogs. How do I know? Because I never eat hotdogs. So when I live my life as I normally do and suddenly make a different choice aka eating a deathdog and get sick, I am highly confident it is the hotdog.

That could be an allergic reaction to something in the dog or that the dog has come into contact with. It's hard telling as you would have to trace where those hotdogs came from, how they are made, what you put on them if anything, and so forth. All I am trying to say is that true Food Poisoning is not always the last food item you ate (unless it's some rancid, uncooked pile of flesh). Maybe your stomach just doesn't like Hotdogs? I know mine has some foods that just don't agree with it.
