solution:

buy a pre-paid visa card (for like 20 bucks or w/e) and open a paypal account using THAT!

You don't even have to have a PayPal account if you have a Visa, MC, or bank account.

I did not know this, my credit card takes my credit purchases out of my checking account. and if i go over it takes it out of my parents credit account, so their beef was that if my paypal account got stolen...it could screw with all types of crap in their credit account. btw mastercard ftw
