Thought I would post this for any robotics geeks in Texas. They are hosting a big robotics demonstration here aimed at the military. Not sure if anyone is going to school for that kind of stuff but registration ends Wednesday. Fort Hood is pretty centrally located among the big towns in Texas, you shouldnt have to drive more than 3-4 hours. If you do, you officially live in the sticks :P

Sweet...I actually work at the R&D home of the Army Mule and SMSS robotic vehicles...among others... :2

The Mule is awesome. A branch in our company (QinetiQ) builds the Talon. For whatever reason our robotics nerds didnt put any product in this event, which my boss is quite unhappy about. Im going to attend and see if there are any opportunities for merging with our stuff.

I am working on new design myself to pitch to the intellectual property guys here....It is always an uphill battle when you have to win over the "same ole engineers" all the time.
