But to be fair to him, I don't think Brett wants all the attention, which is why he tells reporters he isn't going to come back.

That the will piss off and go report something more important like oh I dont know Tom Brady or Carson Palmer returning from season ending injuries. Hell, even another Michael Vick story has more appeal than a Brett Farve comeback. But then as soon as they catch wind of Farve, he is all over ESPN again. Whatever

The whole thing is a giant desperation move by the Vikes because they don't have a decent signal caller on their entire roster. Tarvaris Jackson is bad and always getting worse by the snap, and if you watch the Texans you know how bad Sage Rosenfels can be at times. Brett Farve will be an average NFL QB who i guess brings consistency as long as he doesn't get injured again. I think the vikes could make the playoffs but they definitely wont make the super bowl.
Good point. I USED to like Favre. Now? I dont. He has brought drama to the NFL and it pisses me off.

EVERYTHING in the world has to have some sort of drama in it, or it isnt normal... gay shit.

Don't worry after Favre fucks it up at Minnesota, they'll (being ESPN) will probably Blame AP and Harvin for it, possibly even more players because Favre can never do wrong according to ESPN.
I don't know how AP could ever catch the blame for BF's suckiness, but I can see how the WR corps or the Oline could catch some blame. But they're O-line is really good and they have AP to run the ball and take pressure off of BF. If Brett Favre sucks the only people to blame would be Berrian, Rice, and Harvin for dropping the ball.

Im willing to bet with a running back like Adrian Peterson, Brett Favre will have the lowest amount of passing attempts hes ever had in his career this season.

No matter what team, what players, or what coach... Favre will suck WHEREVER he goes.

Couple years ago? He would do fine.

Now? No... just no. Hes old and out of his prime.

    gg Favre.

As long as the linemen can give him protection I'm sure he'll be fine. I say good for him!

    Next headline:
"Favre has season ending injury on first sack of season"

jk. I dont think that will happen. But when he gets hit, hes not gunna feel good.

I give him 3-4 weeks into the season to get injured and/or sore as hell.

So tell me studs, who here, if you had his skills would turn down 12 million?

And if you think the Vikings are dipshits for doing it, you may be right, send in your coaching application, they might hire your too!

Personally, I hope he owns, sets more records and kicks ass. That is one tough SOB.

I will admit, I could do without the Drama.

Not if I knew I couldnt give a 100% everyday, just like he knows he cant. (Like he said a couple weeks ago)

And the year before, the Packer offered him 10 MILLION DOLLARS... JUST to stay retired.

I would take the $10M over the 99% chance of killing yourself and $12M.

If i was getting offered a 2 yr 25 million dollar contract I would take it too.
Im not really knocking favre for anything, I just hate how the media covers it and I think the Vikes are going to be dissapointed in this investment.

Brett Favre already owns almost all the qb records, including most interceptions in a career. He is going to set the bar real high in that department.

Another thing. That type of money to US is WAAAAY different to Favre. That is pocket cash to him. I really dont think the money matters to him. He just expects too much money then what he really should get.
