by week5 he really should have known the system, yet he was SHIT for most of the year with the jets. he had a few good weeks then was SHIT.

It's like saying Michael Owen will do well for Man U because he's been good in the past. Thats the past, in the recent he's been shit.

The Vikes O line will give him more time. Having a decent QB will spread defenses out a bit. Only having a run game the last two years, the opposing d's have been able to cheat a bit, knowing the Vikes didn't have a passing game. Hopefully this will open things up a bit.

The point I'm trying to make is that Favre is washed up, useless, old, and WAY out of his prime. He shouldnt be playing CAUSE its hazardous to his health!

Hes gunna get himself KILLED out there!

He is a hell of a lot better than Tavaris. Plus,we get to laugh at all the Packer fans as they burn their Favre alters. Eat it Wisconsin. :10

Of all the teams he could have gone to,nothing hurts a Packer fan more than seeing their God in Purple. Again....EAT IT! :10

The chances of that are pretty slim. And like an old boxer where the last thing to go is the big punch... I would imagine the last thing to go for a quarterback that's never been seriously hurt, would be his throwing arm. He'll probably do ok... And that's just... OK. He's not in his prime, yes. But he's also better than half the NFL's quarterbacks out there right now. He'll do ok and the Vikes will probably come close to a division championship, and fall short. He'll retire... again. And that'll be that.

I hate to see an athlete get old and not retire at the top of their game... but it's the great ones that just can't let it go. And they always come back one time too many. I can still remember the Muhammed Ali fight with Larry Holmes in 1980. It was a sad thing to watch as Holmes picked him apart BADLY... Holmes even turned to the ref a number of times to get him to stop the fight. Ali had nothing left to give the fight game. Favre still does. It might not be his peak performances... but they'll be... OK.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.

Favre's prescence will hurt AP, big time.

How? Even just the threat of a passing game should help open the D lines up a bit for AP.
