I respect his abilities, but not his decision making.
I think its funny how adding a 39 year old QB, that has had 2 straight terrible years (about to get his 3rd), and STILL think hes a threat. The only threat he is? Is a threat to the Vikes. Kill the team why dont ya.
Even with Favre, I think the Vikes will do good. But since hes the starting QB, they WONT make Super Bowl, nor conference championship.
Another point, the Vikes have 1 good WR and I cant even remember his name! All I know, is that he is alright. You can have all the best QBs in history, but if you have no one to pass to? Then the QBs are useless. Period.
So saying Favre is a passing threat, is like saying, "Michael Jackson is the best performer alive right now!"

Brett Favre told ESPN before the Minnesota Vikings' game on Monday that he suspects he may have a cracked rib.
Favre hasn't had an official diagnosis, but he says taking a deep breath causes discomfort. The 39-year-old quarterback isn't listed on the injury report and no other other Vikings official mentioned the injury pregame.
The three-time MVP says he has no plans to wear any kinds of special padding, saying "the damage is done." Favre is expected to play the entire first half against the Houston Texans.
Favre, who signed a $25 million deal with the Vikings on Aug. 18, completed just one pass for four yards over two series in his Minnesota debut just days later.
Information from The Associated Press contributed to this report.
