I wish espn would just altogether quit reporting on his bullshit.

I thought he was alright before he retired, the un retired, then retired, then signed with a different team, then retired, then signed with a new team.

The guy just comes off as a head-case still looking for attention because he can throw a football.


I WANT REAL SPORTS NEWS. NOT OMG LOOK AT ME RESIGN WITH A PRO FOOTBALL TEAM EVEN THOUGH I'M OVER THE HILL.

Brett Favre comes out of retirement
Brett Favre signs with Packers.
Brett Favre retires from Packers with TWO CRYING SPEECHES! stating he has "nothing left"
Brett Favre comes out of retirement
Brett Favre signs with Jets
Brett Favre retires WITH A CRYING SPEECH saying "I have nothing else to give to a team"
Brett Favre comes out of retirement
Brett Favre signs with Vikings.

MY... FUCKIN... GOD!

I respect his abilities, but I DONT respect all the drama he is causing...

I respect the man but I, along with everyone else in the nation, am so tired of his ongoing soap opera bullshit.

He is an old pro who is way past his prime and doesn't deserve the publicity that he is getting, or the contract for that matter(10-12 Million dollars last I heard).

But to be fair to him, I don't think Brett wants all the attention, which is why he tells reporters he isn't going to come back.

That the will piss off and go report something more important like oh I dont know Tom Brady or Carson Palmer returning from season ending injuries. Hell, even another Michael Vick story has more appeal than a Brett Farve comeback. But then as soon as they catch wind of Farve, he is all over ESPN again. Whatever

The whole thing is a giant desperation move by the Vikes because they don't have a decent signal caller on their entire roster. Tarvaris Jackson is bad and always getting worse by the snap, and if you watch the Texans you know how bad Sage Rosenfels can be at times. Brett Farve will be an average NFL QB who i guess brings consistency as long as he doesn't get injured again. I think the vikes could make the playoffs but they definitely wont make the super bowl.
