I read in an article one time, to mimic the posture of the person interviewing you.

Example, they lean in to talk, you lean in to talk as well. If they are more laid back in their posture, you should mimic that as well.

Let them get settled and most of their day over with. Then just tell them who you are, when you were there, and ask if there has been a decision. It will put you back into there memory. Otherwise most just hire one of the last people interviewed. Just remember don't be pushy and be polite yes sir or maam and so forth.

    good luck

Gotta be careful there. Those movements can mean different things.

For example, leaning forward is a sign of interest. It shows that you're involved and really interested in what's going on. Leaning back can seen see as either a sign that you are comfortable with the surroundings, or that you're apathetic to whats going on.

A manager/interviewer may lean back, and may truly not care, however if you mimic his apathy, it could give a bad impression.

God I loved my communications in management class. So many useful tricks =p

Always follow up not to beg or look desperate but to merely thanking them for taking the time out of their busy schedule to talk to you.

    Something like,

    Mr. Smith,

"I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to speak with me today about the open position at Best Buy. I know you are interviewing many candidates and am glad that we had a chance to meet. I beleive that my knowledge and drive would make me a perfit fit for the organization. Please as always feel free to contact me with any additional questions that may arise."

I know it sounds cheesy but a thanks goes a long way.

I'd still call best buy every couple of days until they tell you that they've filled the position... Persistence.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.
