aww shiii...I got them backwards.

It's because we used the red/yellow/white cables AS our component cables :-P We didn't wanna go buy new cables just so they'd be the same color....

Okay so the HDMI is out, im probly gonna go VGA to hook up to my Comp monitor, tv in my rooms still a CRT.

Red/White = Audio. Yellow = Video. I doubt a single yellow cable is going to be able to transmit HD video. HDMI is just more convenient. It was designed to make things easier to install. You have to remember 90% of humans are retarded. Having 5 color-coded cables is WAY too hard. So one hdmi cable will do. Although the shape is too random, they should have made it a huge triangle that way the average person could use the skills they were taught in public school to install a single cable.
