I'm not sure if you'd count Salman Rushdie as ideology, but at the very least he makes you think. Plus, any author who gets a religious death order put out on him must be good, right?

I know i should read the Communist Manifesto as well. Any others that deal with ideologies in politics, maybe promote different ideas on some subjects? Be interested in checking them out.
