Console users call themselves gamers

Yes, PC games are light years ahead of console games. The Halo gamers are just figuring out what I figured out in 1998 with Quake 1 multiplayer. It is fun to frag. Does this mean they're not gamers? Hell no.

I play on both. I mostly play FPS/RTS games on the PC. But I use the xbox for RPGs. And some xbox only games, like Halo (which I don't play online unless I'm at a friends house), Gears of War (great co-op games with Ruukil), Army of Two (same as previous), etc. etc.

In this house we have two pc's, xbox 360, ps3, and a wii.

The xbox 360 is about online friend networking. You can stream netflix and play halo.

The ps3 is mostly for blu ray movies and SOCOM.

The wii is for the kids.

The pc's are used for real HD gaming and browsing the net.

In the end they all have their ups and downs but when it comes down to it, strictly console gaming is for nubs.

Yup.

I love those reality shows on G4 or w/e where its a gaming reality show but the kids are all hardcore console gamers and it seems like one big fucking joke when you watch it from a PC gamer's perspective....it really does.

Does anyone know what show I'm talking about?? If so what was the name of it? Drawing a blank here....

Another make an article saying they aren't, and making it convincing.

I am by no means strictly console, I play both, mostly PC.

Honestly, this argument is kind of sad...PC gamers are debating whether or not console gamers are real gamers.
