Nutrias are a pretty unheard of animal. I was looking over a conceptual design report for making some storm drain improvements on a culvert bridge which includes several photos. Looking through these photos and many of them were of the local inhabitants under the bridge; nutria. The problem is, when the road was constructed (which isn't that old), they incorrectly placed the box culverts under the road and the water doesn't continuously flow likes it's supposed to and basically started clogging up. The nutria moved in and now the city is trying to figure out what to do with them. Kinda funny.
