There isn't a hint of a discussion about when we are going to leave and even the Brits are planning for another decade.
So it's not blood for oil, it's blood for natural gas.
Should we really have a discussion about what it takes to keep America running ?
I think exposing the reality that it is a zero-sum game would not be pleasing to our population in general and would enrage those who lean to the left.

Funny how national newscasters never talked about Vermont's attempt to secede from the Union a few years ago.
No mention of domestic terrorists or radicals when a very deranged and radical plan was fostered there.

Granted I'm in the Northeast (ish) but it was all over the news here while it was going on. It was basically explained as a publicity stunt to draw attention to an issue and not a serious attempt, like say, the ROT-ers in Texas push for every few years. I get most of my news (other than local) from the internet though, idk if you'd consider that a "national newscaster" since I wasn't watching Channel 2 or something.
