Re: Carter: playing the race card
I just hope that Bin Laden isn't used politically, even though I know he might be.
I honestly hope he isn't captured alive, because that will start a major debate on executing him or not, etc.
Back on topic, Carter is old news and thinks that by bringing up stuff like this he will remain relevant.
Even if some think he was stupid for the comment, I am glad Joe Wilson made the comment only because I like when folks are brave enough to go beyond protocol and actually stand up for something they believe in. Political games and back room deals have made the government a huge hump on the back of the American people that I hope can be healed by some honesty..... even if I don't think it will be possible without major reform.

The "truth" of wilson's statement depends on the public option. True, if illegals purchase insurance on the exchange then they are paying as well but the potential exists for abuse of the public option. (but who abuses social programs anyway )

Jimmy Carter is THE worst president in recent history .......... having said that he should go back to banging nails for Habitat ! His comments are in itself Racist ! So he must include himself as one of the Racist people from the south. He should do like Old Soldiers to quote MacArthur ......... and just Fade Away !
