I didnt read through all 12 pages of this but heres my take:

Been there, done that. If those thoughts of 'shes amazing and ideal for me' are running through your head and you didnt act upon it from the get go, youre most likely stuck in the friend zone. Its just our nature as the nice guy that is better than the asshole. I was there for one girl half of my college career. Its sadly then when I finally realized that life is way too short to concentrate on one girl that doesnt dig me as much as I dig her. So what you do is move on. Stay in touch but go seek other 'fish in the sea'. The rest of my college career was a freaking blast and Im a better, more confident person for it. At the very least, you'll get to experience plenty of different types in the dating/exhibitionist world that will prepare you better than just obsessing over one chick. Best case scenario (which actually happened to me about 3 years from my 'realization' point) is that this chick realizes what shes been missing (you) and tries to get with you. Best best case scenario on top of that, you've already found someone thats 10x better than the chick that you thought was 'the one' and you end up marrying her (about 3 months from that stage for me).

Believe me. Ive asked the same questions to my friends and I always dismissed 'youre too good for her' and 'its not worth it' because I thought there was one grain of truth that there would be some fairytale ending, but the reality is that the sooner you stop being an instant hopeless romantic for chicks you dont really know, the better off you'll be.

No, I did not ask her out. I did however say to her, in rather garbled and messy Korean, "hello" and "have a good weekend" (thanks agent!) You would have to be a complete idiot to think that some random person would do that. There has to be something different about the person who actually tried to recognize and utilize your culture.

Hahaha...Walker would LOVE it if I went away for 3 hours to a mall..as long as I didn't ask him to come with. I take it we're not normal though, if/when we do have $$ issues..they're the other way around
