I don't know because I've never fired a gun from an attack heli, but it does appear that the rounds don't hit anywhere NEAR where the sites are located in the view finder.

Regardless, you definately don't want to be on the recieving end of this mofo!

I assume you mean #3. If you listen to the audio you can hear when the rounds are fired, thats why they swing so hard left, he was firing while slewing the turret. Alot of that depends on what the aircraft is doing, which is hard to see since they stripped the telemetry. Terrain is also a factor. Once that 30MM is boresighted its pretty damn accurate.

Could also be because the FLIR viewfinder is being controlled manually, while the turret is slaved to the pilot's helmet reticle.

Oh, and ballistics (ie, the sight is LOS, the rounds fall ballistically, no CCIP equipment). Guess we'll just have to fire for effect!
