Previous president starts a STUPID war that unfortunately needs to be finished, and the economy goes to shit after his term, then the next guy is blamed? You are not a member of Obama's democrats, are you? It's not obvious at all, but I just have this feeling.... Y'know?

You may not like Obama's party, or ideas, but for the love of fucking god, it's NOT the end of the world... All those European countries that take care of their people, and ensure a good quality of life through taxes, yet STILL have people in better shape than Americans? OBV fucking communist. No decent, freedom loving country would choose to take care of themselves, and each other!

I personally hate all politicians, but hate this generalisation crap more.

Commander, you are more intelligent than this, and I expect more from you.
but high taxes thus means teh rich and teh businessez all leave!!!

Let alone the fact, on many economic stats countries with high tax rates etc etc. are doing better then us.

so.....we should be fighting everywhere then? Considering Afghanistan is their homeland. Theres ones in Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Pakistan, etc. etc.
Nah, you might think that, but nah..... We know what we were doing. We let them pick their battlegrounds and we are obliging the fight, plus not only stopping the bad guys from moving forward, there are a couple of people that we want to have a discussion with and while we are around, we are going to pick those guys up, and make sure everybody else wants to get along.....

Btw, tax relief to business owners spurs growth and sustains growth. Those civilian stimulous checks folks get in the mail, they run right about and spend it in the economy, which is a great burst and sustains, when life is good.

Life is good and freedom is wonderful.
The notion that fighting them 'over there' prevents them from coming 'over here' is ridiculous. Judging by that statement you would think there were 4 Islamic extremists in all the world. They can come here any time they want. In fact they can be indoctrinated here in our own back yard with out ever having to enter the country to begin with.

How do 'stimulus checks' sustain growth when the check runs out? It doesn't make sense.

Life is good for some and freedom of course is wonderful as long as shit like the Patriot Act doesn't happen.

And if it were a standing army you would have a point. But it's not, it's an insurgency drawn from the civilian population, similar to Vietnam, they have essentially unlimited resources. It's an un-winnable war. Military action won't defeat the root cause of insurgencies. Never has, never will.

Yes it can and it is happening. ALso though, we are building roads, schools, supplying medical supplies, and repairing buildings and helping the communities and that is winning more hearts. We get along with the good civilians real well and they appreciate us helping them rid the areas of the thugs and are helping us.

I don't see where you read that into anything I said. I am thousands of mile from there.

If you do care and use other sources than just the mainstream media, that doesn't tell you the good and great things that are taking place, there are multiple sources that keep up with the current situations happening.

Of course, if you are leaning over there in your left chair, hollering "change" and spouting negative things such as "we can't win", when in fact you are dead wrong, then so be it.

I know what we are doing in just about all areas of the world we are in, because I stay on top it, because I do care and I want to know.

What's your sources? I don't think WSJ is going to help you "know what's going on in all areas of the world." Unless you don't consider that mainstream media?
