DANG! If you go in Summer Season that is only 9,800 Baht a night ($252) for a suite.

You can't stay at Disney World for that little!!

I think I will have to go there...Hmm, 10th anniversary coming up in a couple years...

I must say that it was the best hotel I've ever been too. Service in asia for me has been the best ever. Japan especially all around for every day things like haircuts, massages, dinners, etc... But as for hotels, Mom Tri's has thus far been the best for me!

If you go to the North (granted this was in 2004), a 4-5 star hotel ran like 55 bucks a night, and these were some nice rooms too. Granted this was Chiang Rai which is more small town like. I think the 4 star hotel in Chiang Mai was about 100 bucks a night or so.

Other upside if you go, buy some jewelry to sell back in the states. Bought some circles made of jade over there for i think like 25 bucks a pop (at most, and the good quality of jade, not shit or fake), same thing being sold at a department store here for like 125 dollars (and the shitty quality of jade too)
