I was sick all week and now am getting better - on Sunday just in time to leave town for 1 night in Waco, TX tomorrow.

I got a flu shot on Monday, then on Wednesday...it gave me the flu.

I was only sick for about a day, but God I felt awful. :3

Correct. Because you get shot up with dead flu cells, your body will react to it sometimes, and you can get flu-like symptoms, but you don't get the flu.

I've been food poisoned twice at Taco Bell and I still go back. They are good. Well going down. Why should Arby's be any different!?!!?? 5 for 5!!

really depends on the vaccine, some use dead flu cell, others use the actual flu virus in a weakened or denatured form, some of them do give you the symptoms depending on the strength of your immune system bu they only last a couple days max
