look at the ingredients...if it's got tallow or lye in it...it's soap and bad bad bad....no matter how they pretty it up.

Wait. Aren't those things that kill bacteria and other germs? Doesn't that make them good?

... Isn't soap supposed to kill that shit on your skin, and leave the pretty smell junk as a secondary thing?

But, hey, if you wanna cover yourself in pretty smells and let the bacteria continue to breed, be my guest. At least your skin will be soft when you're being hospitalized :P

tallow and lye do more harm to your skin than whatever mediocre cleaning they provide...there are much better things out there we've discovered..that don't do the damage that those do..fragrances or not.

if you want to strip your skin of it's natural defense system, and coat yourself in soap scum, be my guest, plenty of people still do

many people are surprised when they find out that soap still contains those ingredients, was just letting you know.

Pfft, over-abundance of antibacterial chemicals we use could contribute to bacteria resistant (or maybe even immune) to those chemicals. I did a science project on triclosan (which is a pretty common anti-bacterial thing... it's in soaps, mouthwash, toothpaste, all kinds of stuff) back in high school and there was some concern about it back then.

Hell, I'd wash myself with straight bleach before I'd use those antibacterial things :P

I am right there with you..i refuse to use anything antibacterial (except for a little i keep in the kitchen for when i handle raw chicken, got salmonella once, ick)

there are cleaning agents out there that can clean you ..without doing damage is all i'm saying

snip a bit of your hair..hold it in a capful of bleach...see what happens. Yes, it's clean..but it's dead too :P
