Watching this thing on NASA tv....They're not in any "official" NASA control center. Everyone looks like they're at a LAN party sitting in front of Flat screen monitors with headsets on. Didn't wake up on purpose, but set DVR to record and back to bed for me.

Why are we poking holes in the moon? Isn't that kinda like all the shooting at speed limit signs on Texas highways?

I thought we took core samples when we were there before....isn't it way cooler to probe other places, like Mars? Or Venus?

We were very limited on what we could do when we went since there were a lot of time constraints. With this project we didn't have any human life risk and we'll find out if there is water on the moon. If there happens to be water, we can convert it to Hydrogen Fuel, Oxygen for breathing, and water for plants and drinking. That way we have a chance to have a moon base and setup a stepping stone to Mars and beyond.
