    Moon Impact Tonight

    Hey everyone,

    Sorry for the late notice on this but just thought id pass along that at 4:30 am PDT there will be a probe slamming into the southern portion of the moon. The impact should be visible to the near naked eye, binocs or a good scope should do. plus its an excuse to stay up gaming until impact time.

    my instructor works @ JPL, he says naked eye prob not worth it. Decent Binocs at the least, 10x or so should do it.

    I read on CNN that it will impact approximately at 7:30 EST...I think.

    NASA TV will broadcast.
