Isn't that a bit sexist? A guy fighting a guy is OK, but a girl fighting a guy is not? It's wrong for anyone to hit someone out of nowhere, regardless of gender. If a guy hits a guy it's assault, guy hitting a girl is now a hate crime (I apologize if I used the wrong words there) against women? Assault is assault regardless of gender.

...Just saying. Also, before I get yelled at, I'm against violence of all forms IRL, regardless of either party's reproductive organs. I'll intervene in the same way in a guy vs guy fight as a guy vs girl or girl vs girl.

Also, Sauso - I admire your actions. I'm going to view them as a person coming to the aid of a person, or family aiding family, not a man coming to the aid of a woman, if that's alright.
    i 100% agree with you.

one thing i hate though.....are females who think they could hit a guy because he isn't going to hit them back.
I've yet to meet a woman who can hit me hard enough to make me want to hit her back. Hell, I've known guys that have taken swings at me, and I just tend to look at them like, "Really? That was it?" and then chuckle to myself as the guy gets thrown out of the bar and I go back to my drink.
I've dated women that, in all probability, could kick my ass in a straight fight. I'm not a fan of fighting, but if it gets right down to it, I'll fight back whether it's a man, woman, or child - don't want me to fight back, then don't start a fight.
18 and I've yet to get into a real fight, I'm of the same mind. I loathe fighting, but if it comes down to it its going to be ugly.

I've only been in one and he seemed surprised when I bit him.

If I hit Walker, he'd hit me back. We've never fought per se, but in wrestling or something, if i slap him, he slaps back. He's such an equalist

Maddening really, I have absolutely no advantage unless he's sleeping.

All kidding aside, Sauso is my hero. I've been known to attempt similar things in similar situations, but I forget I'm small and fly through the air quite easily. Anytime you stand up for someone vulnerable, you're a hero in my book.

Size matters a lot, but there are advantages to being small!

My ex was only 5'4", which means I was literally a foot taller and probably outweighed her by at least 100 lbs... and I still think that she coulda laid me out if it ever came to it, simply because she had quite a bit of training. Momentum is a powerful thing

I don't understand why he would be suprised. You want to fight for honor? You want to fight with fairness? Join a boxing team or go to a gym and box. If someone tries to hurt me - and I mean actually hurt me, not a friendly punch in the shoulder - and I feel threatened, I am going to retaliate in order to protect myself. I see no problems going for the eyes, stomach, groin, neck, or throwing dust into their face, or picking up a stick and using it to keep them away / hit them with it. It's a FIGHT. As in, one person is trying to HURT the other. I'm going to protect myself. You can keep your honor, your fairness, and your sense of "man-code" as you lie on the ground battered and bruised when I'm done with you. I put myself and my kin's safety first. Honor and fairness do not and should not matter when someone is trying to hurt you.

Sad to say I agree with you. Someone wants to hurt me or someone close to me and its on. As long as I'm the last one standing and they are still breathing its all good 8)
