Western Sconny is the outdoor playground for people in Minneapolis. There are a LOT of Minnesotans that have cabins and/or lake places. In some cases, it's much cheaper to have a second property in Sconny than in Minnesota (because of the taxes). So, on the weekends, you're bound to see a lot of purple. Especially in the bars.
