Webpages that you open and files downloaded while you are incognito aren't recorded in your browsing and download histories.

That is the main reason I use it. Although, I do like the sense of security it give me as well. My gf has come over a few times and web browsed on my computer and because of Chrome, I had nothing to worry about. :9

Firefox has private browsing. Same thing. Im still a firefox user.

They do now, but I am pretty sure Chrome did it first. I am not gonna make the switch, because Firefox has it now too. Plus Chrome is faster!

Chrome is indeed a bit faster, I'll give you that much... but I'm too hooked on my add-ons and customizations... plus I can't use Chrome at work and I like to have same browsers at home and work. But maybe I will try out Chrome some more soon.

To be honest, id probably still be using FireFox if I ever used any add ons. When I did use it though, I didn't run anything that special, so its not hard leaving that aspect behind.

I do miss the one add on I did run though, which was a built in NES Emulator. Twas the shit.

Why would you need a NES emulator in your browser? I don't get it...

i would try chrome, but i want to keep my show IP, FoxClocks, and Flagfox (i believe that is correct). Especially FoxClocks, now i always know what time it is in CST, EST, the U.K., and Australia

firefox used to only be 40-50%, but it's walking off with the lead, easily. Chrome has stayed around 5-10% for the last few months. IE's getting killed.
