I don't know if the LSU offense could have put up another TD against Florida, but I do wish that the refs would have given them the chance they deserved. That was CLEARLY an interception to anyone not wearing crimson, or I guess stripes.

TCU jumps to #4. Just need 1 lucky break, like Bama or UF to slip up before the SEC title game, to join the party.

Honestly, I like TCU, but I think a one loss Big12 or SEC team should get in ahead of them.

    http://espn.go.com/ncf/clubhouse?teamId=2628 - TCU schedule

Only ranked team(s) they play(ed) are Utah and BYU (who's win over OU isn't that impressive as OU falls out of the rankings).

    http://espn.go.com/ncf/clubhouse?teamId=57 - Florida schedule

Beat LSU in death valley, and potentially in line to beat Bama in the title game (most likely at #3)

    http://espn.go.com/ncf/clubhouse?teamId=333 - Bama schedule

Beat LSU, Virginia Tech and potentially able to beat Florida in the title game (most likely at #1)

Texas played Oklahoma state without dez bryant but still a decent win.

If TCU gets in with that schedule, that makes a statement that teams like them (TCU), Boise, Utah, etc... can get away with playing weak schedules and still have equal shot at the BCS title.

Is TCU talented enough to beat any of those teams listed? Maybe. Do they deserve a chance to play there, comparative to what other teams had to do during the season? IMO, they don't.

All this really could be remedied by a playoff.

    Re: ROLL TIDE ! ! ! !

The reason i defend teams like TCU, BSU, and any other "mid-major" is because none of the big boys will play them. TCU scheduled a home and home series with OU a few years back, but when TCU won one of them OU said never again. The power conference schools have nothing to gain and everything to lose by playing good teams from non-BCS conferences. If any team from the SEC, Big 10, Big 12 or Pac 10 go undefeated they make the title game unless there is some crazy occurrence like 2 other undefeated teams from BCS conferences, so why play a good team like TCU or BSU?

Unfortunately for the big boys they have everything to lose and nothing to gain by playing BSU, TCU, etc. If you win out in a major conference after starting in the top 25, you go to a big bowl game, so scheduling a tough OOC is nothing but risk with no reward if you are established. For "major" teams that are rebuilding, or at the bottom of a big conference, playing a BSU or TCU guarantees TV time, so there is value. Its a shitty deal, if teams could look forward to a playoff I think you would see more big teams playing the TCUs of the world because it would help them prepare and wouldnt hinder their chances in the post-season.

Sounds about right. I don't mind losing. But I do mind losing when a terrible call that could have changed the outcome of the game is made.
Yeah. If LSU were to beat Bama, the SEC Champ. would be Florida vs LSU.

But since Bama beat LSU, now its gunna be Florida vs Bama. Winner of that goes to face UT in the BCS National Championship.

So I guess you can say this game was important, but not to any UT fan (such as myself).

I, personally, was going for LSU. Bama played a good game, and not dogging them or anything, but LSU should have won that.

But congrats to Bama. Played a good game.

    SEC Championship Finals
    Florida: 35
    Alabama: 17

    National Championship Finals
    Florida: 28
    Texas: 24

As much of a fan I am of Texas, it takes a man to admit his team is the underdog, and will most likely loose. I dont doubt their abilities, but Florida is just better. Plain and Simply. Regardless of what I think or anyone else thinks, UT is my main team and I will root my ass off for them anyways.

    Hook 'Em Horns! :4
I wish I could be that confident, as long as Texas has Will Muschamp I dont want anything to do with them. That dude is Florida kryptonite for some reason. LSU definitely played a good game, but they dont have the depth at line this year to keep them in the game late. I think Auburn has a chance with Bama if they can run their spread, Bama isnt built to play from behind so if they can get a little jump they could pull the upset.

LSU's D-line doesn't lack depth, it's lacks skill. No pass rush, EVER, and they arm tackle anything with a football. Their back 7 are top notch, even with a shitty 4 man pass rush.

I Can understand that. Two things need to happen then. Either attempt to join up with a major conference or a playoff system has to take over.

Do a search, I have been a proponent of a playoff for years on here, that is why I root for TCU to make the #2 spot.
