You can't shoot someone in the head with a pair of binoculars if that someone pulls out a pistol and starts blasting people at random.

I liked how someone was quoted as saying "well that's just un-American." What, exactly, is American, then? It seems a lot of people want to say what they believe in is American, and anything they don't believe isn't. It's like fundamentalists putting words in god's mouth.

Those Neo-Nazi types are all crazy and probably marginally dangerous, but why shouldn't they be allowed to hold their own little rallies for us to all look at and mock? How is that any different from, say, a parade held by immigrants to celebrate important days in their home countries, or gay pride parades, or whatever?

While I do not agree with what they are saying (well, I do agree in more border control, but thats about it), but I believe that they should have the right to march. Just as I have the right to protest said march.
Now, there is a big difference in a gay pride parade and a Neo-Nazi march, not the least of which are the security issues. Not many people are packing at a gay pride event (most gays [not trying to stereotype, but this is how it is] are too liberal to carry, and most people carrying arent stupid), but you never know what some punk skinhead is gonna do. So the police have to respond accordingly.

I still say it's the Canadians we need to be paranoid about. World War 3's gonna start and they're gonna bust out the plasma rifles and anti-matter bombs and we're all just gonna stand there and cry. "They were just our little attic! How could this happen!?"
