Really? Nothing at all. But of course they didn't bury it out in the desert. Oh wait yeah thats where we have actually found chemical bomb supplies. Everything else is proably in syria by now.
And the only reason there was so much support for afghanistan was because 9/11 was still fresh on peoples minds. A couple months later and everyone has moved on. Americans dont give a shit unless they are personally affected. Once the whole 9/11 thing settled down the support for fighting terrorism died down. So if another attak happens expect the same, initial support and then "oh no we dont wanna be at war.
America and americans are reactive not proactive. In all aspects of life we are merely reacting to things never trying to prevent things. Planning goes a long way, plans for things like hurricanes are now popular in Texas and Louisianna. That shit should have been done long ago, Florida doesnt collapse with every hurricane and they get hit the most. They have planning. We need planning for every kind of event. We cant prevent hurricanes(well if you believe opinions in other threads we can) but we can be prepared. However we can prevent terroristic attacks instead of letting it happen and react to the consequences.
