Google Goggles!

Anyone else try it out yet?

I am a bit disappointed with how poorly it handles just about everything so far. From business cards to logos is has been unresponsive and it managed to google some weird text that had no relation at all to the business card scanned...

It did wind up correctly recognizing an Intel logo though.

It works best on magazines and books and logos, not much on anything else. I even tried scanning some candy into it and it wouldn't recognize it at all.

My friend with a G1 tried scanning a business card today, came up with a random mechanic in Utah, not even close to what the actual card was

I was showing everyone at work today and it worked flawlessly. Every business card I tried (4) it picked up all the info. All you had to do was hit add to contacts. That was the best part so far. I took pictures of art online and it found them all.

The landmark feature worked great also. I held it up and then pressed the button and info on the restaurant from numbers to reviews came up.

Lots of promise.

Just tried it out. I downloaded it to my sister inlaw's Tmobile mytouch G1 phone and wow. I took a picture of this shirt I have:

and it pulled up everything on the Load Album by Metallica and the FiXXXer t shirt that specific design was made for. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA SO AWESOME.
