Capital One Bowl: LSU vs. Penn State

Game on January 1st, #12 vs. #13, good match up. I know LSU hasn't looked as impressive as they have in years past, but regardless of the season they have had, they always come out strong in their bowl games, destroying their opponents. I want to say Penn State wins, but with LSU's bowl record under Miles, I have to give the game to the tigers by 14+.

LSU has two major problems: Jordan Jefferson and Gary Croton (O-coordinator). As long as we have those two guys, LSU is going no where fast.

It was a better game than the Cotton Bowl. I think OSU lost their momentum when the off-sides didn't get called, and the "free play" became an interception. You could tell it was downhill from that point.

Exactly. He is the LSU QB with tons upon tons of potential, but he has one major flaw...he is a giant p*ssy when it comes to throwing the ball down field. Granted this could also be contributed to the weak playcalling by Gary Croton. We have two soldi WR's (one of which will most likely go in the 1st round if not both), we had a plethora of great running backs, and a talented offensive line. All that talent + lackluster playcalling = 9-4 season. Sad really.
