And relax...surgery isn't so bad...all you have to do is lay there,and you won't feel a thing. In fact,with the anesthesia, you will get the best sleep you ever had.

Just talked to my father, who's been an ER doctor for 40 years or so, and he said with that particular surgery, you have a greater chance of dying in a car crash on your way to the hospital than suffering from any complications during surgery. So, drive safe, we'll see you when you get back!

Yeah, you'll be fine big guy. Ive gotten very lucky and have been able to observe 2 brain surgeries through Nursing school. DancingCorpse is right, the brain actually feels no pain, but you may have some minor scalp pain during recovery which can be managed by some Corticosteroids and regular Analgesics. Good luck to ya, hope everything turns out well......
