Professor Ian Clark, Department Earth Sciences University of Ottawa
Professor Carl Wunsh, Department Oceanography MIT
Dr Piers Corbyn, Climate forecaster Weather Action
Professor Fredrick Sites, Americas Academy of National Sciences
Professor Paul Reiter, IPCC, Pasteur Institute, Paris
    Professor Richard Lindzen, IPCC, MIT
    Dr. Roy Spencer, NASA
Professor Patrick Michaels, Department of Environmental Sciences, University of Virginia
Professor Nir Shariv, Institute of Physics, University of Jerusalem
Professor Tim Ball, Department of Climatology, Winnipeg
Professor John Christy, Lead Author, IPCC
Professor Fredrick Singer, Former Director, US National Weather Service
Professor Syun-lchi Akasofu, Director, International Arctic Research Center
Professor Philip Stott, Department of Biogeography, University of London

All of the above mentioned were featured in a Documentary called "The Great Global Warming Swindle". Google it, although it never stays in one spot for long and mysteriously disappears. However, I am sure it is still out there somewhere. It was aired on BBC, but has also mysteriously eluded any American TV stations. Anyways, after watching it with some skepticism, and researching their claims, I began to see things from the other side. I was one of those people that watched Al Gore’s "An Inconvenient truth" and thought the world was going to end in 20 years.
It should be mentioned that Carl Wunsh later revoked his contributions to the documentary. He stands by what he said, but did not like the overall tone of the film, as he believes that there is a human element as well. His contributions can only be found in early versions of the documentary that were released. Here is a quote from him concerning the documentary and a link to his complaint: “In the part of the "Swindle" film where I am describing the fact that the ocean tends to expel carbon dioxide where it is warm, and to absorb it where it is cold, my intent was to explain that warming the ocean could be dangerous---because it is such a gigantic reservoir of carbon. By its placement in the film, it appears that I am saying that since carbon dioxide exists in the ocean in such large quantities, human influence must not be very important --- diametrically opposite to the point I was making---which is that global warming is both real and threatening.”-Professor Carl Wunsh, Department Oceanography, MIT.

What really changed my perspective was the data set that came from Professor Ian Clark's work. He, like Al Gore, gathered data from Ice core samples and like Al Gore, found a direct relationship between warming and carbon dioxide. The BIG difference was that Clark's data showed the same increases in CO2 levels to be following warming trends, lagging behind any increase or decrease. Gore claimed that the CO2 was causing the warming. Big difference. I cannot remember the name, but one of the above, also did a temperature, sun spot study, and found that their correlation matched much better than CO2 and temperature, (although there is an indisputable relationship between all three). It appeared, according to their data, that there were lurking variables and evidence suggests that they have been purposely ignored by the IPCC (Professor Fredrick Sites’s letter to the Wall Street Journal is one example). These variables are the sun and the ocean.

I am not trying to change your mind, prove you wrong, or question your integrity. This is just how I have come to my conclusions. I just hope that you realize that there are two real sides to this debate. Unfortunately, politics and money have been mixed into this debate and has totally discounted credible research performed by some very reputable scientists. Sad IMO. So when people use the phrase "Man Caused Global Warming" as if it is a Law, instead of a Theory, I get a little raged. Hence, the reason I posted here in the first place!
Did I say that or was I just thinking it?

JK I think that it is pretty obvious that Pote has some mega brain power. I just happen to disagree with him on this one.

@Cojiro, don't worry, it can't invade the banned forums.
