    I'm going to New York for the first time

    17th-22nd, will also be attending my first nba game ever on Sunday Bobbies @ Knickerbockers. SOOO STOKED. I'll be staying at Grand Hyatt hotel by Times Square, what should I do guys? Where should I go? I'll be with the girlfriend btw.

    I kid I kid. As a resident of a suburb of NY and frequent traveler to NYC, I recommend the following.

    Go to Rockefeller Center and see the tree. There is a reason why its so damn popular this time of year.
    Museum of Natural History, if your into that sort of stuff
    There are a tone of other Art Museums
    Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty are always a grand experience. Think they might have re-opened to the public last year.

    If you can give me a better idea of what you and your GF are interested in, I can point you in a better direction. I will also be more than happy to give you a list of do's and donts and things to be careful of while in the city that never sleeps.

    No, my girl lived up there for many years in Westchester County. I've been there twice.

    first off i feel sorry for you (been twice, hate NYC)

    second: The obvious stuff is the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Catch 20000000 diseases riding the subway (its that clean ), ummm the 9/11 site, the bull, there are some really cool churches (i can't remember the names of), the Bronx, U.N. Building, China Town, Little Italy, and there probably crapload others.
