Thread: Reminder....

My family (SsT members) thought it would be ok to share this with you. I left it as I wrote it so take what you can with you. I know that some of you have been dealing with the loss of someone dear this year so this is just a reminder of what we should be thinking about ..

Today is Jason's birthday (ex husband, Christians dad .. RIP) and I have been fighting back the tears. Christian has been starting to have a hard time now that the holidays (and his birthday) are here. For all of those that have lost a loved one let me share a few poems with you..

Since the loss of you

I've learned that even when you're in a lot of pain
You've got to hold yourself together

Let me leave you with this thought

Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure.
Share your thoughts, your love, and your laughter with the ones that mean the most to you for you never know when they will be called home. There are so many times in our lives that we get wrapped up in other things, things that really we could do without that we forget to enjoy the little things. We argue with loved ones, be it our parents, our partners in crime or our friends but at the end of the day we need to remember what they mean to us and share that with them.
We have all done it.. why get upset because so and so didn't take the trash out or because the driver in front of you didn't use his signal. Don't stress about the Christmas shopping left to do. When is the last time you layed on the lawn and made shapes out of the clouds or let the kids run in the rain puddles. Share your fondest memories with the people around you this year. That is the best gift you can give.

To my many new friends and all the old ones. I am thankful I have you to game with to help me laugh and take a breath from the real world.

Yea ty for that dusty, I lost two good friends 2 years ago last week, Both happened a few days from each other. Sad sad times. Ty for the enlightenment.

Dusty did you write that poetry or is it from somewhere? Anyway, good post either way. I've been fortunate to not lose many friends or relatives in my life. I can't imagine the hurt that would stem from such an event.
