    Youtube Avatar.

    I found a video that has a part in it that i want as my avatar, but i dont know how to do it. Can anybody help me out by either telling me how or making the avatar for me?

    Go download a video editor...But then again, I dont know how to save videos from youtube...


    Google "Save videos from youtube" or "edit videos on youtube" and go from there....Google is everyones friend.

    RealPlayer has a function that lets you save all Flash/Shockwave movies as .avi files. Do that, then either screen cap it while paused or open it up in a video editor and export the frame you want.

    Ok i found a youtube downloader and i got the video i want and i edited it with windows movie eiditor. What do i convert it to so i can use it as an avatar on the site? Do i use .avi like tick said?

    No, open the avi and export the frame you want as a jpg/gif/png/etc, then edit it in Photoshop or similar program.

    you could have just paused the video, taken a screenshot, opened ms-paint, paste , crop, newfile, paste, save as, .jpg

    I don't think you guys are getting what I'm asking for hep for. Do any of you know those avatars the are animated? I want that but I have a YouTube video clip that I want to use. That the help I'm asking for.

    Yea i don't have any of that adobe software. I don't have the cash nor the skill to do that. Does anybody here have the skill and patience to do what i want for my avatar? I personally know i wont be able to do it myself and get it right. Please let me know and ill look for a forum for this.
