Need Camera selection help!
Where are my camera pros?
Okay, you've heard of the Jitterbug phone right? It's a great phone that many older folks use because of its simplicity and big buttons and such.
Well for christmas my brother and his family are getting our grandmother a new digital photo frame. My girl and I came up with the idea that we should get her a easy to use camera.
She currently uses disposables and spends a ton of money to have photos developed. I dropped by the store and just couldn't find anything that seems like a easy to use camera for someone older. If it's got more than 5 buttons then all it takes is one wrong push and then you get stuck on a screen that you can't get out of then you just leave it there and not use it till family comes into town to show you again.
Anyways, I probably won't have much luck but is there something out there that fits the description I need?

really tough to say.... theres a couple cheapies from kodak and casio that are pretty feature-free but still hard to "un-do" if u accidentally change something.
Best all-around digital i can recommend right now would be the Sony Cybershot DSCW-220. Its a VERY good point and shoot camera, 12 megapixels, honestly the picture quality can be compared to a $1000 dollar DSLR, if the operator uses it on auto-mode. Its got a metal case, and still works great after my sister dropped hers several times.
Best feature for u might be the mode-selector on the back. Its a round dial with i think 9 options. The only one she will use is the camera picture. And if it accidentally gets rotated, just rotate it back.
Ive seen the camera this season on sale for $119 to $169. For some reason its always cheaper at Office Depot and Staples then it is at BestBuy or Target. Theres no Walmart here, so I dont know how much it costs there.
Also the Sony DSCW - 190 is almost the same, if u want to spend a bit less. Should be $100 to $120.
In general for point an Shoot digitals, Id recomend Sony and Nikon over all others, (Casio, Olympus, Canon, Kodak)
