Thread: I have to go car shopping..

So here I am .. faced with buying another car to replace the wifes van that has 205K miles on it. Found out today from the auto shop that it needs a new converter which is over $1K to replace. The van is only worth $2700 so I am not about to toss money down that hole.

I hate car payments. It has been over 2 years since I had any.. got all my debts paid off and bam.. gotta go spend some more on a car.

Gonna buy used of course to save $15K, but the idea of spending $10-12K on a 3 year old car pisses me off...
