Refer to SJA's post. Blame your coaching staff for putting all their stock in one player.

Bama played the team that was on the field. You're going to fault them for that? UT was out coached and outplayed. McCoy got hurt and didn't play. Not Bama's fault that the Texas staff wasn't prepared by having better depth on their roster.
And, not Alabama's fault that he couldn't take a hit on his shoulder either, which was likely injured before that game, because the hit looked pretty light to me.

Alabama's running back, had a cramp in his calf too, but he toughed right through it and played a heck of a game....

Anybody can come up with a thousand excuses, but the best team is chosen by the win in the National Championship. That team is defined by the teams "Heart", players, coaches, fans and a hard fought battle.

    Re: College Football!

I was wanted Bama to win..I will say that right up front...IM AN SEC FAN.

    However...Texas brought there A game....Bama did not.
They struggled...I have to think that if Colt was playing...he and his roommate receiver would have
walked all over Bama...That was not the team that played Florida.

The Bama Defense won that game...Bama had a hard time moving the ball.

But Bama Deserved the win...I do believe Texas was Lucky to be there considered how much they struggled thru the year....I could not believe that they won against the Nebraska SUH...come on how lucky was that...

But as they say..."Any Given Saturday" (College Version)

Hmmm, cramp in the calf......throwing arm shoulder injury...just no comparison. That was no light hit either, he got hit directly in the shoulder which is exactly how i hurt mine in high school, almost identical hit too.

And what are you talking about Rock, Bama puts all their stock in that all-terrain vehicle they call a running back.

But whatever, Bama won, no changing it, but God i hope for a rematch some day.....

They have a fantastic receiver in Julio Jones, a good Offensive line, a fantastic defense and a plethora of talented running backs. Only position they truly struggle at is QB. So they played to their strengths. They only threw the ball, like 11 times (?). I've never seen so many people be so bitter and sore about losing. Big 12 lost the title game (again), SEC won the title game (again), get over it.
