Im not trying to compare the two (though thats sadly what this has come about), but Bear Grylls is a man's man. Isn't that what we're debating (disregarding whatever opinions people had about the other dude...)?

A man who voluntarily sticks a tube full of bird crapped water up his bung hole with no good reason to (even as a demonstration on TV) is not a man.

Does financial gain qualify as a "good reason"?

No.

I think we should put that up to a vote.

Bear Grylls is entertaining, and is pretty much a badass. I won't say anything bad about the man, or his show, because I don't want him sticking a tube in my ass.
