They have these in newer airports and stuff, and they work surprisingly well. One swipe and my hands were dry.
Saw this at the IMAX theater right across the highway from Fiesta Texas in San Antonio....only in the Men's room though. Got a couple of screams and things thrown at me while checking in the ladies room, but it wasn't there.

We have the Dyson's at our local Costco, they work pretty well but they're loud! I really like the design!

    Re: Hand Blow Dryers

in a slightly related tangent to the hand dryers..... the guys who are so freaked out by germs that they go to really excessive lengths to try to avoid them.

Every now and then, when I walk into the bathrooms at work, people who are NOT that limber have their foot up near chest level trying to flush the urinal mounted on the wall. They go through some serious contortions to NOT touch the handle, enough so, I'm sure a few have fallen over and ended up laying in the very thing they are trying to avoid.

Still, makes me laugh as they try to play it off as if they were doing something radically different.

I see people doing that too...flush with your hands then wash them, it takes much less effort than lifting your foot 5 feet off the ground.
