in that case what your really looking for is not so much punk but more of indie rock.

The Strokes and Interpol are both releasing new CD's within the next 2 months, Cold War Kids, Vampire Weekend, The Kooks (mabye), Apartment, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Dirty Pretty Things (Libertines new band minus Doherty), Editors, Kaiser Chiefs (mabye), Klaxons, Nickel Eye, The Rewinds, The Sounds, The Stills, The Stone Roses(old old old but amazing).
